Nomination Procedures and Selection Criteria for all the Categories 1 - 10.Step 1 Complete the nomination form on line no later than March 26th, 2010. Step 2 Provide a short paragraph describing the history and the mission of your business or organization. Step 3 Enclose a summary outlining your business or organization’s most remarkable successes in the past twelve months relating to the evaluation criteria detailed in the category or categories in which you wish to compete. Support your arguments with examples, facts, numbers (quantities, volumes, proportions, percentage, dollars). Your successes may consist, for example, of a specific initiative in the following areas: revenue growth, job creations, realized investments, market share, new product, new process, customer service, innovative marketing, exceptional contract, etc. Any additional printed material (brochures, CD-ROM presentation, etc.) may be presented to the independant jury in due time. The Selection ProcessThe finalists in each category will be selected by a Grand Jury composed of business people.* An independent jury shall be named for each category, and will be responsible for site visits, interviews with the finalists and for choosing the winner. The decisions of the juries are final. No member of any jury shall have a family or financial involvement in any of the finalist companies/organizations. The names of the winners shall remain confidential until the evening of the Accolades Gala when each winner will be publicly announced. All information provided to the West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce shall remain confidential. * If deemed necessary, the Grand Jury reserves the right to combine or divide categories. The Grand Jury may also reclassify some candidates. In the event of reclassification, candidates will be advised. Also, the Grand Jury reserves the right to not declare a winner in any or all competition categories. |
