Cyber-Risks: How to Reduce the Impacts on Your Business
Cyber-attacks affect all economic actors. Businesses are even more vulnerable as they don't always know what these cyber-risks are and how to protect themselves against them. According to most experts, it is only a question of time before an organization is the victim of a cyber-attack. Should such an event occur, the business must not only be prepared and have set prevention mechanisms, but they also have to implement management measures during and after the attack.
BDO has developed a range of services around the three cycles of a potential cyber-attack:
- Prevention and Resilience: How to assess your resilience level to cyber-attacks, how to manage the risk, how to prepare for an attack and how to protect yourself from the financial losses caused by a cyber-attack through appropriate insurance coverage.
- Resistance: How to contain an attack, protect your assets, to safeguard evidence and implement countermeasures.
- Cleaning and recovery: How to correct security breaches, safeguard evidence and process insurance claims for operating losses.
