Accolades Competition
The annual Accolades event recognizes the excellence of West Island businesses and non-profit organizations by awarding Accolades prizes to highlight their successes and initiatives that have had an impact on our community.
Eligibility
The Accolades Competition is open to all businesses and non-profit organizations located in the West Island of Montreal, (Boroughs of Lachine, L’Île-Bizard / Sainte-Geneviève, Pierrefonds / Roxboro and Cities of Baie d’Urfé, Beaconsfield, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Dorval, Kirkland, Île-Dorval, Pointe-Claire, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Senneville). Businesses and organizations located outside of the West Island, are also eligible so long as they have had significant business activity and/or implication in the West Island community.
Businesses that have been awarded as an Accolade winner in the past two years are not eligible for same category but can apply in a different category.
Businesses or non-profit organisations can apply in a maximum of two categories and must submit two different forms while respecting the criteria required per category.
Businesses that are sponsors of a category are not eligible to apply in same category.
Businesses must be members in good standing of the WIMCC.
Businesses and/or non-profit organisations that are pronounced as a finalist must be available for a phot and short video session during week of April 28th 2025, and must be present at the Accolades Gala evening on June 5th 2025. Finalists are responsible for any cost of ticket(s) to attend.
