The Finalists of The West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce
2019 Accolades Competition Unveiled
Pointe-Claire, April 26th, 2019—Close to 200 members of the business community attended yesterday’s press conference cocktail where the finalists of The West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce (WIMCC) 2019 Accolades Competition were unveiled. This Press Conference Cocktail took place at the Courtyard Marriott West Island Baie-d’Urfé. The finalists in the 11 categories were proud to be recognized by the business community, in this 34th edition of rewarding business excellence in the West Island.
The Grand Jury, composed by four professionals and partners of the WIMCC, had the important task to evaluate the 138 applications received for the contest. The juries deliberated for a long time to choose the finalists of the 11 categories. “Considering the quality of the candidacies received in each category, it was a true challenge to determine the finalists per category. Despite this, we accomplished the task with the utmost objectivity”, concluded Éric Léouzon, President of the 2019 Accolades Grand Jury.
The finalists are now ready for the next step of the competition: the visit of the Independent Jury. The juries will visit the finalists in their respective categories in order to determine the recipients. They will be unveiled during the Accolades Gala, on May 30th, 2019, at the prestigious Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel. The evening draws close to 350 guests of the West Island business community where this year’s theme will be Game of Trophies. The Chamber offers an Early Bird Pricing (25% off) until May 16th, noon.
Guests will then be invited to continue the celebrations during the Accolades Lounge, hosted by Groupe Bravo Location Rentals. The Accolades Lounge is free for attendees of the Gala, however, booking a VIP lounge offers an enhanced experience. Moreover, a special group rate for hotel rooms is available for those who wish to party without worry. Contact the Chamber for more information.

Year after year, the Accolades Gala is praised for its prestige and professional organization. It is the most important event of the WIMCC and offers excellent visibility to its partners.
