A Word From our President
The West Island of Montreal has always been a great place in which to do business. To this end, a number of services and activities have been developed. One of the most important aspects of these activities organized by many committees of volunteers is to offer you opportunities to network with your counterparts in the West Island.
As President of The West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce (WIMCC), I feel that we have everything in place to support the dynamism of the businesses that contribute to the prosperity of our region. Our presence and our ties to the community allow us to strongly display our solidarity at all levels in the West Island.
The Chamber’s principal goal for the upcoming year will be to focus on the development of its members’ businesses. By paying close attention to the economic situation, we will be able to get an accurate reading of the needs of district entrepreneurs, assess the potential for development of the region and be able to define the challenges linked to the globalization of its economy. The Chamber will continue to question its own methods while pursuing its objective of continually improving its effectiveness. The Chamber will utilize the full potential of its associations with entrepreneurs and related organizations to further provide business and partnership opportunities thereby creating positive benefits for the West Island.
Through the strength of its members and the solidarity of the networks that have been established between them, The West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce will continue its progression towards excellence and to act as a mobilizing force that is capable of offering more support than ever to its great members, small, medium and large.
