Accolades Contest
We are proud to launch the 38th edition of this prestigious recognition contest, celebrating the organizations and individuals in our business community who, distinguish themselves by their achievements, innovation and excellence, while actively contributing to the visibility and prominence of our region.
The date for the 2026 Accolades gala is June 18th, 2026.
Important Dates-Steps

Registration period
JAN 20th to March 13th 2026

at the latest by

Evaluation period
March 30th to April 10th 2026
Assessment of received applications and the deliberations process of the jury members.

Revealing of finalists

Accolades Gala
Week of May 18th:
Jury members deliberate to determine the category winners that are announced at the Accolades Gala June 18th 2026
Eligibility
To be eligible for one of the categories, the company (or individual) must meet the following conditions
- Be a member in good standing of the WIMCC.
- The Accolades contest is open to all businesses and non-profit organizations located in the West Island of Montreal region, (district boroughs of Lachine, Pierrefonds/Roxboro and Île-Bizard/Sainte Geneviève, as well as the Towns of Baie d’Urfe, Beaconsfield, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Dorval, Kirkland, Pointe-Claire, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue & Senneville)
- The company must have a business establishment (civic address) in the territory of the West Island of Montreal throughout the competition, from the registration date until the Gala. An organization or business, must at the very least, develop and/or provide services to the businesses located within the territory of the West Island of Montreal area (without necessarily having a physical address there). In the case of a franchised business, the company may submit an application only for the establishment(s) located and serving the territory.
- A company sponsoring the Accolades Gala cannot submit an application in the category it sponsors, however, it may apply in any other category.
- A company or non-profit organization that has previously won in a category cannot apply again in the same category for the following two (2) years.
- A company or non-profit organization may submit an application in a maximum of two (2) different categories and must complete a separate form for each category.
- A company or non-profit organization must meet specific eligibility criteria for the category in which it is applying.
As a finalist, the company, non-profit organization or individual:
- Commits to being present at the Finalists’ Cocktail on April 28th 2026 * where the finalists for each category will be announced;
- Commits to making themselves available for a video recording of approximately 30 minutes either on May 19th or 20th 2026;
- Commits to being present at the Accolades Gala* held on June 18th 2026.
*cost of tickets to be covered by the company, non-profit organization, or nominated individual
